Seth Rogen was never considered an icon of style in his early movies like Superbad and Pineapple Express.

The Vancouver-born actor, writer, and director had this sloppy look with curly hair and a bushy beard that made him seem like the perfect foil to blow-dried Hollywood stars who traded on their looks to rise to the top.

But over the years, Rogen became progressively cooler.

He was the first major male actor to declare that he believed powerful producer Harvey Weinstein's female accusers.

Rogen launched a charity to promote awareness about Alzheimer's disease.

He created a film that made him the bane of the North Korean dictatorship.

And he revealed that he knew for years that Stormy Daniels had an affair with Donald Trump.

It helped that Rogen starred alongside A-listers like Barbra Streisand and Charlize Theron while making no secret of his love for cannabis.

This month, Rogen made it onto the cover of GQ, which is the paragon of male style in America.

In a white jacket and white pants, no less.

Not bad for a kid who grew up on the grittier side of South Van between Main and Fraser streets.
