If you’re a cineaste looking to adorn your walls with film art or add to your collection (hoarders, anyone?), there’s a sale this weekend to take note of that will also benefit one of the few remaining single-screen and arthouse theatres in the city.

The Cinematheque will be holding its one-day poster sale from 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday (July 21).

Posters from auteurs and celebrated filmmakers such as Rainer Werner Fassbender, Francis Ford Coppola, Jean Viggo, Satyajit Ray, Robert Altman, Lucrecia Martel, Joel Coen, and Christopher Nolan will be available.

Proceeds support the Cinematheque, located at 1131 Howe Street. But it's first come, first served, so get down there as soon as possible if selection is what you're after.
