Once Upon a Time actor from Vancouver dies in Port Moody motorcycle crash

      Actors, screen-industry members, and fans are in mourning after learning that a local actor succumbed to injuries sustained in a motorcyle crash.

      According to a Port Moody Police Department (PMPD) news release on July 23, emergency services responded at 1:35 p.m. on July 23 to vehicle collision at the intersection of St. Johns Street and Queen Street in Port Moody.

      The PMPD stated that a motorcycle rider was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

      Later in the week, several news reports revealed that the injured male died and that he has since been identified as 46-year-old local actor Gabe Khouth.

      His costar Jason Burkart, who played Little John on the locally shot ABC TV series Once Upon a Time, expressed his sadness on social media, along with a video message from Gabe Khouth’s brother Sam.

      Khouth, who was born in North Vancouver, starred on Once Upon a Time as the character of Sneezy (a.k.a. Tom Clark) since the show began in 2011.

      He has also had roles in the feature films Big Eyes and It; TV series such as iZombie, Supernatural, Da Vinci’s City Hall, Northwood; and voicework for TV series such as Beyblade Burst, Hot Wheels Battle Force 5, and Dragon Ball Z

      The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
