The actor who plays LAPD training officer Talia Bishop on the ABC show The Rookie has quit, alleging that she was victimized by bullying, sexual harassment, sexual assault, and racist comments.

In a lengthy post on Instagram, Afton Williamson claimed that the hair department disparaged her with racially charged and inappropriate comments, whereas the sexual harassment came from a recurring guest star.

The show's executive producer, Edmonton-born Nathan Fillion, also stars in the show as John Nolan.

None of Williamson's allegations have been proven in court.

In an appearance before the Television Critics Association, ABC Entertainment president Karey Burke said that she learned about allegations at the end of June and that Entertainment One had launched an investigation.

"I'm waiting for the results of that investigations to get more answers," Williamson said, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
