His wife, Sabrina Dhowre, appears in the video alongside him.
Dhowre, who is of Somali descent, had been named Miss Vancouver in 2014 while she was living here and married Elba in April 2019.
Elba previously costarred with Kate Winslet in the romance-drama The Mountain Between Us, which was shot in various locations around British Columbia from December 5, 2016, to February 24, 2017.
The production was where he met Dhowre.
Meanwhile, Hollywood star Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson announced on March 11 that they had tested positive in Australia. They were released from a hospital today and are now in self-isolation.
