Riverdale's Archie Andrews (KJ Apa) spotted at Celebrities nightclub

On Tuesday night (June 13), Celebrities lived up to its name.

Taking a well-earned break from filming Netflix’s seminal Riverdale, the show’s star, Archie Andrews—or Keneti James Apa to his mom—joined revellers at the Davie Street nightclub for a low-key night. Pictured here with local photographer Alison Boulier and an unidentified friend, Apa appears to relish the opportunity to—quite literally—embrace his fans.

This isn’t the first time Apa has been spotted around Vancouver this week.

A casual creep of the star’s Instagram reveals shots of him strolling down Granville Street near Venue, and hanging outside of Earls. Which means if you tramp up and down the sidewalks long enough, you’ll likely catch a glimpse of his trademark ginger quiff.

Other hotspots for hunting Apa include Lord Byng Secondary School, Point Grey Secondary, and John Oliver Secondary, all of which stand in for Riverdale High. Veronica Lodge’s (Camila Mendes) apartment is really the Permanent building in downtown Vancouver, and the house of Archie and his father (Luke Perry) is located at 2037 East 3rd Avenue. Spoiler—it's not really next door to Betty's.

Riverdale is an American teen drama series, very loosely based on the characters by Archie Comics. Inspired by the vibe of Twin Peaks, the show follows a murder-mystery format entwined with various subplots of its high school characters’ love lives. Unexpected pregnancies, drugs, and maple syrup all feature heavily.
