      The great Harry Dean Stanton, who died on September 15, gets a rare leading role in a movie directed by old Norm Gunderson from Fargo (John Carroll Lynch). If that’s not spectacular enough, David Lynch costars. Screening at SFU on Thursday (September 28) and Sunday (October 1).

      FACES PLACES Octogenarian Agnès Varda hits the road with the 34-year-old artist known as JR for a tour of the physiognomy of the French countryside, at SFU on Sunday (October 1).
