Season two of Archie Comics–based drama Riverdale returns to laptop screens nationwide on Thursday (October 12)—or Wednesday (October 11) on the CW if you’re one of the few suckers still paying for cable—and to celebrate, Netflix has announced that it will be handing out free milkshakes at select diners across Canada this week.

Rocko’s Diner (32786 Lougheed Highway, Mission) and the Templeton (1087 Granville Street), the former of which served as Archie and the gang’s hangout spot, Pop’s Chock’lit Shoppe, in the Riverdale pilot, are among the six eateries participating. Rocko’s will be offering milkshakes on Thursday (October 12) and the Templeton will be doling out the drinks on Friday (October 13).

Fans will be able to choose between the Betty (Old Fashioned Vanilla) and the Veronica (Double Chocolate). The milkshakes will be served in Pop’s-branded cups and both Rocko’s and the Templeton will be decked out in the fictional diner’s décor. In addition, Rocko’s will be screening the first episode of Riverdale’s second season.

Complimentary milkshakes are limited and will only be offered to the first 200 guests who arrive between 7 to 11 p.m. on each day. Pop-ups are also happening in Toronto, Ottawa, Calgary, and Edmonton.

Loosely based on the Archie Comics, Riverdale is a Twin Peaks-esque drama that follows a group of teens as they navigate a series of murders, suspected drug rings, and alleged gang activities occurring in the titular small town. The series is filmed in B.C., where its stars KJ Apa, Lili Reinhart, and Cole Sprouse have been spotted hitting up clubs and arguing with buskers in the past few months.
