CBC's The National to hold virtual town hall about COVID-19 pandemic in Canada on December 1

      If you want to know more about the worsening COVID-19 pandemic in Canada and have questions to ask, an upcoming national special will take a closer look at the state of the nation.

      CBC News announced today (November 27) that it will present a two-hour interactive special entitled Confronting COVID: The National Virtual Town Hall next week.

      Hosted by Adrienne Arsenault and Andrew Chang, it will be broadcast live from The National studio in Toronto on CBC News Network (and app), the CBC Gem streaming service (and app), CBCNews.ca, and Facebook at 5 p.m. (Pacific Time) on Tuesday (December 1).

      The discussion will cover topics such as case numbers, lockdowns, schools, and vaccines.

      A panel of infectious disease and healthcare experts will respond questions from Canadians through social media and live video platforms.
