In Have a Good Trip: Adventures in Psychedelics, Sting reveals how the grass came alive and started speaking
In late April, Straight.com posted a list of what to watch on Netflix Canada this month—and it includes a new documentary on the psychedelic experiences of some famous entertainers.
Have a Good Trip: Adventures in Psychedelics is now available, featuring some hilarious and enlightening recollections from Sarah Silverman, Reggie Watts, Nick Kroll, Rosie Perez, and Ben Stiller, among others, supplemented with some wild animation.
At one point, Sting reveals that everything came alive—even the grass was talking to him. For him, the entire universe cracked open.
But for those who've seen the film, one of the most memorable tales came from LSD aficionado A$AP Rocky.
"No laugh," he says, "a rainbow shot out of my dick. And it had a sound with it."
One of the Straight's sister publications, CannCentral.com, covers the latest news and health developments related to psychedelics.
That includes efforts on both sides of the U.S.-Canada border to either legalize or decriminalize psilocybin and other psychedelics for the treatment of posttraumatic stress disorder and other mental-health conditions.
In one of the most startling developments last January, a company called COMPASS Pathways announced that it had obtained a U.S. patent for its "psilocybin formulation in addressing treatment-resistant depression".
