Nickelback released the video for its latest single, "San Quentin", today, and believe it or not, it's a pretty wicked tune.

I mean, it's not gonna make Bob Dylan envious, lyric-wise, but the arena-rock riffs kick ass. And the guitar solo by Chad Kroeger smokes.

The multiplatinum band from B.C., by way of Alberta, shot the clip at SFU's Convocation Mall a couple weeks ago, after inviting fans to show up and rock out.

What do you think? Sounds a bit like Metallica, but with a way better drummer, am I right?
