Now you can stream Dan Savage's stoner film fest SPLIFF while you self-isolate and chill at home
Dan Savage wears a lot of hats. For one thing, he’s the editor of Seattle alt-weekly The Stranger. He’s also a syndicated love-and-sex advice columnist and podcaster.
Since 2005, Savage has also been a film festival producer, first creating the amateur-porn fest HUMP! and more recently SPLIFF, billed as a “brilliant collection of short films created by the stoned for the stoned”.
Last year, SPLIFF had screenings in Seattle, Portland, Denver, and San Francisco. With COVID-19 keeping cinemas closed and potential viewers on lockdown, 2020’s in-theatre shows have been postponed.
Savage and company have opted to make last year’s full program available for online streaming, with choose-your-price ticketing ranging for US$5 to US$10.
