One of the most anticipated Vancouver rock concerts of 2022--the Foo Fighters show set for October 6 at Rogers Arena--was canceled in the wake of drummer Taylor Hawkins's tragic death last month.

But there are still a whole lot of other primo gigs coming up this year to keep live-music fans happy.

      Here's 10 to consider:

The Music of Cream, May 7 at the Biltmore Cabaret (moved from Imperial Vancouver.)

Marcus King, with guest Hannah Wicklund, May 16 at the Commodore Ballroom.

Midnight Oil, June 1 at Malkin Bowl in Stanley Park.

Primus, with guest Black Mountain, June 12 at the Orpheum Theatre.

Jr. Gone Wild, with guests the Graham Brown Band, July 7 at the Rickshaw Theatre.

John Fogerty, July 24 at Rogers Arena.

The Aristocrats, September 1 at the Rickshaw Theatre.

Roger Waters, September 15 at Rogers Arena.

The Black Keys, with guests Band of Horses and the Velveteers, October 3 at Rogers Arena.

Blackie and the Rodeo Kings, with guests Digging Roots, November 9 at the Commodore Ballroom.
