Photos: Yule Duel brings warmth to a cool, foggy night in Gastown

      Last night's fog made city's oldest neighbourhood, Gastown, feel like a slice of 19th-century London in the dead of winter.

      Adding to the allure was the presence of choirs filling the streets with the sounds of Christmas carols.

      It was all part of the third annual Yule Duel, which raises funds for May's Place hospice in the Downtown Eastside.

      The event is organized by the Gastown Business Improvement Society.
