      WEDNESDAY: American alt-rock band Queens of the Stone Age plays the Pacific Coliseum, performing on its Villains World Tour 2018.

      WEDNESDAY: Swedish rapper Yung Lean plays the Vogue Theatre, touring in support of new album Stranger.

      THURSDAY: American punk-rockers the Flesh Eaters--featuring original members John Doe and DJ Bonebrake (X), Dave Alvin and Bill Bateman (the Blasters), and Steve Berlin (Los Lobos)--play the Rickshaw, with guests Petunia and the Vipers.

      FRIDAY: Vancouver folk-rock band Hollow Twin plays an EP-release party at the Biltmore, with guests Little Crow and Porteau.

      FRIDAY: Coastal Jazz presents Canadian-American trio MGB--composed of pianist Matt Mitchell, drummer Jim Black, and guitarist Gordon Grdina--at the Western Front.
