FRIDAY: American alt-rock band Portugal: The Man plays the first of two nights at the Vogue Theatre, with guests Hollerado.
FRIDAY: Coastal Jazz presents New York organist Brian Charette in the first of two nights at Frankie's Jazz.
FRIDAY: Vancouver all-star band JFK is joined at the Railway Stage and Beer Café by vocalists Eddy Dutchman, Kelly Haigh, Jazzy Zircon, Doug Andrew, Joanie Kepler, Billy Hopeless, Angel, Ana Bon-Bon, Dennis "The Reveller" Brock, and Bob Mercer, with guests the Joannie and Johnnie Show.
