Nine years after the Juno Awards last lit up Vancouver, the show is heading back to the west coast for a packed ceremony in Rogers Arena.

Luckily for those who didn’t manage to snag a ticket, there's also a week of events scheduled around town.

First to be announced is the Juno Fan Fare.

Held at Burnaby’s Metropolis at Metrotown (4700 Kingsway) on March 24, the event offers the chance for thousands of music aficionados to meet their favourite Canadian artists. The crowd will be serenaded by live performances from Jess Moskaluke, High Valley, Ria Mae, Scott Helman, Tim Hicks, and a DJ set from DAVE (Dave Ritter of The Strumbellas), and can also participate in giveaways and meet-and-greets.

The big draw of the event is the chance to take a selfie with the stars. Six hour-long time blocks have been set up from 12 p.m. until 3 p.m., with different artists in each. Savvy members of the audience will be able to mix and match their photo sessions, and attendees can attend multiple slots.

The roster showcases some of the best Canadian talent.

      From 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.

Group 1: Dallas Smith, Theory, and Tim Hicks
Group 2: Marianas Trench, Ria Mae, and Virginia to Vegas

      From 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.

Group 3: Arkells, Lights, and Scott Helman
Group 4: Aaron Pritchett, James Barker Band, and Jess Moskaluke

      From 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Group 5: Chad Brownlee, Dan Davidson, and High Valley
Group 6: Daniel Caesar, Ruth B., and Shawn Hook

Tickets for the event are free, and are available from Saturday (March 10) at 10 a.m. from junofanfare.ca. They will be awarded on a first come, first served basis—so get ready to hit refresh.
