Cigarettes After Sex, Bad Gyal, and Jo Passed among latest acts added to second Westward Music Festival
Westward Music Festival has announced a new round of performers for its upcoming September 13-16 muti-venue bash in Vancouver.
Hazy dreampop unit Cigarettes After Sex, Barcelona dancehall badass Bad Gyal, hometown Sub Pop heroes Jo Passed, and Chicago-spawned MC Saba are among the acts that have been added to second edition of the festival, taking place in various venues across the city.
Local legends Odds will take over the Biltmore September 13 and 14 to perform their hit-laden 1995 classic Good Weird Feeling.
Previously announced headliners for Westward, which is put on by veteran promoters MRG, include Kali Uchis, Kelela, and Blood Orange, Angel Olsen, Metz, Mudhoney and Rhye. A second wave of performers--Andy Shauf, Sophie, Chad VanGaalen, Asap Twelvyy, and Margaret Glaspy--was revealed in April.
(For a full list of all performers, see below.)
Tickets are available at westwardfest.com and ticketfly.com, as well as at Red Cat Records locations.
