      FRIDAY: the Safe & Sound Music Fest 2018 at Westminster Pier Park, hosted by Flipout, features performances by Vince Staples, Sabrina Claudio, LNDN DRGS, Manila Grey, So Loki, Sophia Danai,  Side, Kenny Gourmet, the Freshest, Floetic, Houtz, and Jay Swing.

      FRIDAY: local rock band Mary's Gunns plays a reunion show at the Rickshaw Theatre, with guests Marry Me, Loachy, Under The Mountain, and Damsel.

      FRIDAY: Tribute Show at the Railway Stage and Beer Café features performances by Alive N Kissin’ (KISS tribute), Bonnie Scott (AC/DC tribute) and Runaway (Bon Jovi tribute).

      FRIDAY: American pop-vocal group Wilson Phillips performs at the PNE Amphitheatre as part of the PNE Summer Night Concerts series.

      FRIDAY: local roots band the Gravel-Aires plays the Backstage Lounge, with guests the Bottom Shelf Bourbon Trio and Megan Alford & Jesse Waldman.

      SATURDAY: the Safe & Sound Music Fest 2018 at Westminster Pier Park, hosted by Flipout, features performances by Anderson .Paak & the Free Nationals, Alina Baraz, SonReal, GoldLink, Rico Nasty, Anders, Tobi Lou, Trill Sammy, Angst, Kandy K, Goldstepz, the SJS Crew, Hedspin, Niña Mendoza, Arems & Hoppa, and Raiden.

      SATURDAY: the BC Wildfire Benefit Show at the Rickshaw Theatre features performances by Cobra Ramone, the Getmines, Kownterpoint, and the Carbons, with proceeds to support wildfire victims through the Canadian Red Cross.

      SATURDAY: Vancouver pop-punk band Mariana's Trench performs at the PNE Amphitheatre as part of the PNE Summer Night Concerts series.

      SATURDAY: Park Sound Presents features performances by Harlequin Gold, Matt and Georgia, and Max Kashetsky at North Van's Park Sound Studio.

      SATURDAY: local pop singer-songwiter Nicole Aubrey plays the Railway Stage and Beer Café, with guests Kelly and Gibson, High Stakes, and Focus Your Audio.

      SUNDAY: Lost '80s Live features performances by A Flock of Seagulls, Men Without Hats, Wang Chung, Farrington & Mann, Animotion, and Nu Shooz at the PNE Amphitheatre as part of the PNE Summer Night Concerts series.

      SUNDAYThe Honey Tongues combine Americana roots, indie swing, and beat-boxing at the WISE Hall.

      SUNDAY: The Diane Lines Quartet performs a Jazz Vespers concert at North Vancouver's St. Andrew's United Church.
