Adam Driver—famous for playing Kylo Ren in the Star Wars franchise—and famous loudmouth Kanye West will help kick off the 44th season of Saturday Night Live.
Both have appeared on the long-running sketch-comedy show in the past, with Driver's last appearance coming three years ago in season 41.
West seems to pop up on SNL every eight or nine episodes—whenever he's got leather jogging shorts, a beef with Taylor Swift, or a new album to promote. On this appearance look for him to play songs from his latest release, Ye, which bombed (by West's standards) on the charts by being the rapper's first record to not go platinum.
The inclusion of West as SNL's musical guest might bode well for those hoping to see Alec Baldwin open the show as ever-embattled and hilariously clueless U.S. President Donald Trump. West, who has never really cared what anyone thinks of him, has left a good chunk of his fan base puzzled this year by forming a very public bro-mance with Trump.
In the wake of such failures and scandals, West dropped to a lowly 10th place on Forbes' recent list of the highest-earning rappers of 2018.
