People sometimes accuse me of being a music snob, and of filling these Halloween countdown things with relatively obscure songs instead of the crowd-pleasing evergreens that everyone actually wants to hear.

Fair enough! There's a very good reason behind that, though. The way I see it, everyone already knows about "Ghostbusters" and "The Monster Mash", so there's really no point including them. Of what service would that be to you, dear reader?

Today, though, I will bow to the pressure and give the people what they want, which is apparently very obvious choices. I do so begrudgingly, however, so I can't bothered to give each one its own introduction.
