Let's face it, Santa Claus can be pretty scary. This is a fact that some parents take advantage of, using the threat of ending up on the naughty list as a way to keep the kids in line. And don't get us started on the Elf on the Shelf...

When you take them out of the context of the jaunty music that usually accompanies them, the lyrics to "Santa Claus Is Comin' to Town" are more than a little menacing. "You better watch out/You better not cry." "He sees you when you're sleeping." It's actually downright terrifying!

Perhaps that's why Low opted for the creepy approach with "Santa's Coming Over". The song is unsettling enough, and the video is composed entirely of close-ups of children who don't look particularly thrilled at the prospect of a visit from jolly old Saint Nicholas.

Lest we forget, though, Low is perfectly capable of making Christmas songs that won't scare the lumps of coal out of little kids.
