Christmas came early for fans of Neil Young & Crazy Horse this week.

That's because the Neil Young Archives website announced that the band's wicked 1990 album Ragged Glory--the one jam-packed with awesome tunes like "Country Home", "Mansion on the Hill", "White Line", "Over and Over", "Days That Used to Be", and "Love and Only Love"--will be reissued with nearly 40 minutes of extra music.

“Listening to these tracks is a real head scratcher," says a post on neilyoungarchives.com. "They are equal to anything on the existing record, maybe better. Possibly, the thought at the time was to have a single album and not include the songs from the last half of the unique ‘set oriented’ recording sessions.”

The message goes on to say that the double album, Ragged Glory II, will "probably" be released in 2019 on CD, digital download, and, most importantly, vinyl.

      God bless Shakey.
