American web-news site The Drudge Report has joined the New York Post in suggesting that Mick Jagger's current health problems are related to issues with his heart.

Citing unnamed sources, the Drudge Report posted a story suggesting that the Rolling Stones singer is scheduled to have heart surgery to deal with a damaged valve. Also citing unidentifed sources, the New York Post's Page Six stated that the 75-year-old will have a stent placed in his heart.

The Stones announced the cancellation of the Rolling Stones upcoming No Filter tour this past weekend. Tour dated will be rescheduled once Jagger is cleared to return to the stage.

Original dates, including a stop in Toronto, were supposed to see the band on the road from April until June. The Rolling Stones hope to return to action with rescheduled dates by the summer.

To make sure that he doesn't end up in the same boat as Jagger, Stones guitarist Keith Richards is diligently preparing for the rigours of road life by smoking three packs of red-pack Marlboros a day, sleeping until noon, and starting happy hour at 12:03 p.m.

Richards has also put to rest fears that he's not the only Rolling Stone currently in ill-health. Acknowledging that a recent Daily Mail photo snapped in Miami has him looking like Death if Death was a pregnant homeless person ripped from the pages of a Charles Dickens novel, he stated, "I wasn't looking too good but I was feeling real well."
