Eastern Canada fiddle duo Beaton-Plasse, Vancouver accordian ace Geoff Berner, and Cuban export Wil Campa Y Su Orquestra are among the headliners for the 2019 edition of the Mission Folk Music Festival.
Acts on the undercard will include, but are not limited to, the Yukon's Diyet and the Love Soldiers, Quebec's Cécile Doo-Kingué, Manitoba's Leaf Rapids, Saskatchewan's Zachary Lucky (SK), and Prince Edward Island's Irish Mythen. In total over 20 acts from across the world will perform on daytime stages and the Mission Folk Music Festival's main stage.
The festival, now in its 32th year, will take place July 26-28 at Fraser River Heritage Park in Mission.
Things kick off with July 26 with a pay-what-you-can main stage concert spotlighing some of the artists who'll be playing the weekend.
The Mission Folk Music Festival will include both food and Artisan Market vendors, a kid-friendly Wee Folks area, and a licensed bistro. For those looking to make a full weekend of it, there will also be on-site camping spots available for purchase.
Weekend advance tickets range from $90 for adults to $85 for seniors and students to $50 for youth. Kids 12 and under are free.
Tickets and camping passes can be purchased for all price levels, as can one day tickets for Saturday and Sunday.
