Indie-rock alchemists Hey Ocean!, world-beat heavies the Boom Booms, and dream-pop duo Harlequin Gold will be among the headliners at this year's Khatsahlano Street Party.
Other top-tier local acts appearing at the proudly Vancouver-centric event on West 4th Avenue include Old Man Canyon, Little Destroyer, Tonye Aganaba, and Diamond Cafe.
This year's edition of Khatsahlano Street Party takes place from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. on July 6. Seven stages will be set up on West 4th between Burrard and McDonald, with six Mill Street Brewery beer tents set up on the site.
As always there will be food trucks, streets stalls, craft tables, and a kids Khats area.
Last year's Khatslano Street Party attracted a whopping 180,000 people, making it one of the summer's biggest and most successful events in Vancouver.
This year's party was once again curated in part by the staff at 4th Avenue mainstay Zulu Records, with help from Sofar Sounds and Girls Rock Camp.
In a Khats press release, Zulu Records owner and longtime champion of local music Grant McDonagh said: "We're as excited as ever to help present a spectacular day of predominantly local artists, for people of all tastes and ages."
Those artists will also include Devours, Andrew Phelan, Babe Corner, Missy D, Phono Pony, Douse, Giorgi, Sam Lynch, Blue Strange, and more.
