Some random thoughts about the Vicious Cycles new video for "High Noon Scramble".

      • Those nuns not only have a disturbing amount of facial hair, they also seem to be a little loose as far as their morals go, at least when it comes to the consumption of liquor.
      • That kid doesn't look old enough to drink in Kosovo, Cambodia, or Togo, making one wonder how exactly how he'd be allowed to carry a gun as an officer of the law.
      • Motorcycles are fucking terrifying, even if you've got an endless field of sand to cushion your fall after the inevitable wipeout.
      • The Vicious Cycles sound like they've distilled the best of the Clash, Dropkick Murphys, and Rancid to come up with "High Noon Scramble".
      • Sandie Shaw—who, odds are, you won't have heard of before her two-second Neptoon appearance in this video—is pretty goddamn brilliant.
      • Who cares if it's a dirt bike—popping the clutch and then hitting the gas until the back wheel is sprocket-deep in sand seems like an express ticket to a mechanic.
      • Motorcycles are fucking terrifying.
