Donald Trump's quid pro quo denials turned into a 22-second Ramones song

If you've been following the bizarre political shenanigans going down Stateside in the last couple days, you might have heard that American president Donald J. Trump showed up outside the White House yesterday holding some notes, written with a Sharpie in all caps so the message could be easily quoted by the truth-challenged numbskull. “I WANT NOTHING. I WANT NOTHING.," read the notes, "I WANT NO QUID PRO QUO." “TELL ZELLINSKY TO DO THE RIGHT THING. THIS IS THE FINAL WORD FROM THE PRES OF THE U.S.”

It was all tied in to the day's earlier testimony by Gordon D. Sondland, the U.S. ambassador to the European Union, when he told the Impeachment Inquiry about how Trump had tried to bribe the president of Ukraine to get him dirt on political rival Joe Biden in exchange for military aid.

Then some joker who maybe plays in a Ramones tribute band threw together this little ditty:

Yes, it is even shorter than your average Ramones tune. But don'tcha just love the internet?
