When people ask me, "So, what's your favourite band?", I don't always have a quick answer for them. Usually I have questions of my own, like, "You mean my favourite band of all time?" Or, "You mean my favourite band right now?"

My favourite band of all time is the Beatles and my favourite band right now is the Drive-By Truckers.

You probably already know what the Beatles are all about, but in case you're not familiar with the DBTs, here's 10 reasons why you should try to see them when they play the Commodore on March 17. (I can't guarantee they'll play all, or any, of these tunes, but we can always hope.)

Reason #1, "A Ghost to Most", from 2008's Brighter Than Creation's Dark:

Reason #2: "Birthday Boy", from 2010's The Big To-Do:

Reason #3: "Carl Perkins' Cadillac", from 2004's The Dirty South:

Reason #4: "The Righteous Path", from 2008's Brighter Than Creation's Dark:

Reason #5: "Primer Coat", from 2014's English Oceans:

Reason #6: "Two Daughters and a Beautiful Wife", from 2008's Brighter Than Creation's Dark:

Reason #7: "Girls Who Smoke", from 2010's The Big To-Do, vinyl-only bonus track:

Reason #8: "Filthy and Fried", from 2016's American Band

Reason #9: "Self Destructive Zones", from 2008's Brighter Than Creation's Dark:

      Reason #10: "Gravity's Gone", from 2006's A Blessing and a Curse:

I could easily think of 50 more reasons why the Drive-By Truckers are awesome, but that would be overkill.
