Live Nation has just announced that the Strokes will play Vancouver this March.

The New York City guitar-rock band--composed of singer Julian Casablancas, guitarists Nick Valensi and Albert Hammond Jr., bassist Nikolai Fraiture, and drummer Fabrizio Moretti--will play Rogers Arena on Thursday, March 5.

Opening acts is Alvvays.

Tickets for the Vancouver show are priced at $125, $99.50, $75, and $49.50 (plus service charges and fees), and go on sale to the general public this Friday (January 31) at 10 am at Live Nation.
