AEG Concerts has announced that Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds will headline the Pacific Coliseum on October 17.
The fall tour will include 15 shows in the States, and three in Canada. Cave will also headline Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, and Place Bell in Laval, Quebec.
Starting out as the frontman for postpunk agitators the Birthday Party, Cave has gone on to build a critically adored and enduring career as a solo artist.
His massive following has been built not through hit records, but instead through live shows raved about as cathartic, transcendent, and transformative.
He's also been one of those rare artists whose later-career records have been even more critically revered than his early work. Cave will be touring North America on the back of his glowingly reviewed 2019 outing Ghosteen.
Weyes Blood will open all shows.
Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Friday (February 21) at 10 a.m. at nickcave.com.
American Express® Card Members can purchase tickets on Wednesday (February 19) starting at 10 a.m. right through to 10 p.m. on Thursday (February 20).
Here's a taste of what to expect.......and makes sure you stick with it until the 5:00 mark.
