People watching half the fun at Pemberton Music Festival

As noted in the review of Day 2 of the Pemberton Music Festival, you can have a brilliant time at the all-day party without ever looking at a stage.

For every bro-dude in shorts and no shirt, and every party-girl in nothing but a thong and a dental-floss top, there's another festival-goer who understands that all the world is a stage. Especially when you're guaranteed an audience.

Ace Straight photographer Rebecca Blissett spent as much time yesterday checking out the crowd as she did crammed in the photo pits of the Pemberton and Mount Currie stages. Here's some of what she saw.

Admit it: A half-man, half-giraffe is 90 percent less terrying than a minotaur.

That's your takeaway? There's a place for that comment. But why here? Seriously.
