Four Lower Mainland artists with connections to New Westminster will take part in the May Long Festival this weekend (May 21 to 24).

The event features four shows recorded at New West's Anvil Centre Theatre and available for viewing online.

The festival includes a one-woman show by comedian and storyteller Janice Bannister and a "conversational performance" by drag queen Jaylene Tyme and actor Allan Morgan, featuring stories from members of the Massey Theatre’s Gay Seniors Storytelling Group.

On the musical side of things, singer Krystle Dos Santos will present a celebration of notable Black Canadian women in music, with guest performers Dawn Pemberton and Marisa Gold.

And Devon More, a longtime performer at New Westminster's Heritage Grill, will offer insightful musings and highlights from her one-woman cabarets.

All four shows will be available to view online anytime between May 21 at 12 pm Pacific time to May 24 at 11:59 pm, and you can find tickets here.
