Canadian reggae-rock act Bedouin Soundclash has just been added to the lineup of the YMCA of Greater Vancouver's Virtual Campfire and Benefit Concert.

The Zoom event--which will raise funds to support YMCA Camp Elphinstone--will also feature performances by Dan Mangan, Joel Plaskett, Partner, and Hunnuh, with Downie Live as emcee.

"Getting out of the city and into nature is so crucial for young people," says Mangan in a press release. "Some incredibly formative moments of my youth occurred at retreat or camp environments, where you have a moment to evaluate the canvas of how you present yourself to the world and try things your normal-self wouldn’t do. I remember camp as a place of opportunity and openness. And dancing. And singing."

“I have fond memories of my time at YMCA Camp Wapomeo when I was younger," adds Plaskett, "and I’m very happy to be a part this virtual campfire fundraiser."

Tix for the event are $20 and you can find them here.
