The Commodore Ballroom, Vancouver's historic concert venue, celebrates its 90th birthday on December 3, 2020.

One of the building's biggest fans is local blues-rocker Colin James, who's played there 32 times so far.

He'll be adding to that number with two shows on as part of the Live From Inside streaming series.

“The Commodore Ballroom is simply one of the best live music venues in North America, bar none,” James is quoted as saying on the Live From Inside website. "Places like this are increasingly rare and an irreplaceable part of any city's entertainment history. It has been the Vancouver choice for established and breaking bands for years, and has played a huge role throughout my career."

Tickets for James's shows, which take place December 3 at noon and 6 pm Pacific, are priced at $18, with $1 from every purchase going to the Greater Vancouver Food Bank. You can find tickets here.
