One of the most painful side-effects of the COVID-19 pandemic for Vancouver music fans has been the shuttering of the Commodore Ballroom, one of the city's best-loved concert venues.

But local soul-Americana singer-songwriter Frazey Ford will be doing her part to alleviate the suffering with two livestreamed gigs at the historic venue this Saturday and Sunday (September 26 and 27).

As part of Live Nation’s Live From Inside livestream series, each virtual show will feature the former Be Good Tanyas member showcasing material from her latest release, U Kin B The Sun, as well as favourites from previous albums.

Tickets are $19, and include a $1 contribution to the Raven Trust, which raises legal defence funds to assist Indigenous peoples who enforce their rights and title to protect their traditional territories.

      You can find tickets here.
