Vancouver blues freaks should take note of an upcoming online gig.

Local blues vocalist and harmonica man Harpdog Brown has announced that he'll perform a show next Sunday (December 6) as part of Can't Stop the Blues' series of streamed events.

"I speak the blues like it's the truth," Brown is quoted as saying on his website, "and it is. I do feel like I'm a servant of the people. A missionary if you will. Music can heal people if they pay attention to the messages in these songs.”

"Blues is a beautiful celebration of our perfectly flawed lives," he adds. "We help people forget about their issues of the moment and when they realize that we all have our issues, it's okay.”
