As superstars go, Diljit Dosanjh is in rarified company—that reflected by today’s announcement that, when playing Vancouver next spring, he’ll be headlining no less than BC Place. Which puts the Punjabi music titan on the same footing as acts like Paul McCartney, Coldplay, Beyonce, Guns N’ Roses, and the Rolling Stones

Dosanjh is headed to Vancouver on April 27, 2024 as part of his global Dil-Luminati Tour. The show will be a history-making one, with the BC Place appearance touted as the biggest concert ever by a Punjabi artist outside of India.

Releasing his first album, Ishq Da Uda Ada, in 2004, the 39-year-old Sikh entertainer has since blossomed into a multi-talented threat, branching out into Bollywood movies, television, songwriting, and producing.

Earlier this year he crashed the American mainstream by becoming the first-ever Punjabi artist to play the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. That appearance was followed by the September release of his latest album, Ghost, which mashes up traditional Indian music with hip-hop, R&B, and pop.

Dosanjh is no stranger to Vancouver, having spent time here while filming the 2021 Punjabi-language rom-com Honsla Rakh.

Ticket go on sale December 1 at 10am.
