The publicity team at Live Nation Canada has been busy today, announcing half a dozen Vancouver concerts before noon.

The first email hit our in-box at just after 7 a.m. this morning, announcing that Jake Bugg would be playing at the Commodore Ballroom on October 4.

Four minutes later came word that Carly Rae Jepsen would be appearing at the Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre on October 29.

      DIrty Honey

Three minutes after that we heard that Dirty Honey would be playing the Rickshaw Theatre on September 5, with guest Mac Saturn

Then around 7:30 news hit that Ibibio Sound Machine would be at the Fortune Sound Club on September 16, with guests Terror Jr.

Things quietened down for about four hours until 11:43 a.m., when we found out that Dead Can Dance was playing the Orpheum Theatre on March 24, 2023.

      Amy Shark

Shortly before noon we got the last Live Nation announcement of the day (so far), reporting that Amy Shark was scheduled to perform at the Imperial Vancouver on November 4.

Tickets for all six shows go on sale this Friday (June 10) at 10 a.m. at Live Nation.
