It's turning out to be a great week for Vancouver music fans getting geared up for live concerts now that public health restrictions over COVID-19 are being eased in B.C.

Yesterday the Coastal Jazz and Blues Society announced that limited in-person audiences would be allowed at two of its jazz festival venues this year.

And concert promoters have been busy booking shows at Vancouver venues for 2021 and 2022.

Yesterday came the announcements from MRG Live West of two Vogue Theatre shows, with Yann Tiersen playing there on November 13, followed by Leif Vollebekk on November 23.

Shortly after that the same promoter tweeted that Lawrence was coming to the Imperial on October 5, with tickets on sale this Friday (June 18) at noon Pacific time.

Also yesterday, Live Nation West Canada announced that OMD would play the Malkin Bowl in Stanley Park on May 20, 2022.

And Timbre Concerts stepped up to announce that Malia had been added to the JMSN show October 21 at the Fox Cabaret

Then about an hour ago MRG Live West let loose with the news that Preoccupations and Metz would play a double-header at the Biltmore on November 24.
And right around that time Live Nation West announced that 54-40 would be playing two nights at the Commodore Ballroom on October 8 and 9, with presale tomorrow at 10 am.
Then just minutes ago the Rickshaw Theatre tweeted that it had nailed down a date for the Electric Six, that being April 28, 2022.
The "new normal" is feeling pretty rockin' right about now!
