Queens of the Stone Age to play Vancouver in October

      Alternative rock stalwarts Queen of the Stone Age have mapped out a North American tour, with a date set for Vancouver at the Pacific Coliseum on October 3.

      The End is Nero tour supports the band’s forthcoming album, In Times New Roman…, which is due out June 16 on Matador Records. Viagra Boys and Jehnny Beth will open the West Coast leg of the run.

      Josh Homme, Troy Van Leeuwen, Michael Shuman, Dean Fertita and Jon Theodore are also inviting fans around the world to celebrate the release of the new record at the MIDNIGHT CLUB—parties held at record stores and pubs across 23 countries, where attendees will be the first to listen to the new album in its entirety. The parties will also feature giveaways and exclusive merchandise. In Vancouver, Neptoon Records will host the MIDNIGHT CLUB on June 15 at 11pm.
