Strange how something as simple a random Instagram photo can spark a full-blown frenzy.

That’s where we’re at today as the hip-hop world is ablaze with speculation that a new Dr. Dre album is well on its way to become a reality.

Yesterday Eminem took to his Insta and Twitter accounts to pose a shot where he’s in the studio with Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg.

The caption was a simple “just a few bros... hanging out”.

Previous hangouts have of course led to the trio collaborating on classics like “Forgot About Dre”, “What’s The Difference”, and “Still Dre”, off Dre’s essential 2001. Snoop Dogg and Eminem also made appearances on Dre’s most recent album, 2015’s Compton.

The long history between the three also includes hitting the road together for 2000’s now-legendary Up In Smoke Tour, as well as taking the stage for this year’s Super Bowl half-time show.

So what are the actual odds that the three weren’t just hangin, but instead getting busy re-establishing their places in the hip-hop pantheon? Dare to dream.
