Prepare to celebrate with four-time Juno winners the Sheepdogs this Canada Day. Hailing from Saskatoon, the band is known for its blues-rock tunes and 70s-inspired shaggy hair.

This July 1, the Sheepdogs, along with Sass Jordan and Indigenous singer-songwriter Don Amero, will headline Surrey’s Canada Day celebrations at the Bill Reid Millennium Amphitheatre.

“I’m excited to invite all of our residents to join us for the largest Canada Day celebration in Western Canada,” shares Surrey mayor Brenda Locke in a statement. “Whether it’s the great food, amusement rides, unforgettable fireworks, or enjoying headliners like the Sheepdogs or Sass Jordan, this year’s festivities promise to be bigger and better than ever.”

To amp up the festivities, there will also be food trucks, rides, kid-designated spaces, exhibitor and vendor markets and, of course, fireworks.
