Canadian rock fans know Todd Kerns as the former singer-guitarist for '90s alt-rockers the Age of Electric, and more recently as the frontman for Toque and the longtime bassist for Slash.

With the COVID-19 pandemic seriously cutting down on Kerns's ability to indulge in his favourite pastime--rocking out live in concert with Slash and whoever else requires the talents of "the Rockingest Canadian Bassist of the 21st Century"--he's found another way to pass the time: interviewing fellow rockers on his YouTube page.

This Thursday (January 7) at 2 pm Pacific time Kerns will host a video chat with Richard Fortus, who is best known for kicking ass on guitar with Guns N' Roses, alongside Slash.

Previous guests on Kerns's channel include Glenn Hughes of Deep Purple fame, Steve Stevens from Billy Idol's band, Doug Aldrich from Whitesnake, and Phil Campbell of Motorhead.

You can check out all of those interviews, and the upcoming one with Fortus, right here.
