This week's roundup includes artists that span the globe, from Vancouver to Zürich.
Dead Quiet
Stoner rockers Dead Quiet announced a Western Canadian tour earlier this year, but hadn’t yet confirmed a venue for their homecoming show to conclude the run. Now, the band is set to celebrate the release of their forthcoming album, IV, at the Rickshaw Theatre next month, with support from fellow heavyweights NEEDS and Heavy Trip. IV is due out June 9 via Artoffact.

Hermanos Gutiérrez
The Zürich-based instrumental guitar duo, who take inspiration from 1950's Latin music, are on a world tour in support of their sixth studio album, El Bueno Y El Malo. Following performances at a number of festivals including Bonnaroo, the brothers will stop in Vancouver. Estevan and Alejandro worked with the Black Keys’ Dan Auerbach at his Easy Eye Sound Studio in Nashville on the new record.

JMSN
On the heels of the release of his new single, “Cherry Pop,” Detroit-based artist JMSN has plotted a North American outing. The Soft Spot Tour lands in Vancouver in October. JMSN is well-known for his collaborative work with everyone from J.Cole and Kaytranada to the Game and Kendrick Lamar.
