More than 30 darkwave, post-punk, and dark electronic-music acts will take part in the 2022 Verboden Festival.

The event will take place from May 11 to 15 at such Vancouver venues as the Rickshaw Theatre, Astoria, Biltmore, and Imperial Theatre.

The lineup includes Adult., Light Asylum, BOAN, Kontravoid, Actors, Pastel Ghost, Pelada, SYXYGYX, Ritual Veil, Odonis Odonis, In Mirrors, Spectres, Physical Wash, Sigsaly, Spike Hellis, Xibling, Wire Spine, Devours, Reliquary V, Viva Non, Jo Passed, Nervous Operator, Boys in blush, Total Chroma, Sex Park, Monashee, The Wheal, Dri Hiev, Sektion Tyrants, Adoration Destroyed, Eva X, Hem Netjer, and Ringfinger.

The festival will also feature DJ sets from Sharlese, Evidence Doll, Innes, Mela Melania, Seffrika, Max Ammo, S.Lloyd, B.West, Jacob Audrey Taves, Mirror/Mask, Charlotte Twannow, MissBDeath, Sean Reveron, and Nikki Never.
