Journeyman Productions says it has a zero-tolerance policy toward racist actions at its music events.

This declaration came after a man was ejected from a recent Wheel of Metal show at Pub 340 for doing a Hitler salute.

In a Facebook post, the Vancouver-based company outlined its position.

"We also can't believe we have to say this, but we want to make it 100% clear in writing that there are no 'Seig Heils' allowed in the pit," it stated. "This as well as any Nazi symbolism on clothing will not be tolerated. This wasn't clear to someone last night and he wasn't too happy when he was asked to leave the venue, so we wanted to make a post to prevent further confusion."

In a subsequent post, Journeyman Productions expressed satisfaction over the attention it's receiving for its stance against racism.
