The New Westminster Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing woman.

According to police, Brooke ‘Brooklyn’ Anderson, 29 years old, was last seen in the 1200 block of Quayside Drive in New Westminster at around 1 p.m. on December 12.

Anderson is described as Caucasian, five feet and six inches tall, about 130 pounds in weight, of slim build, and with long dark hair.

“Brooklyn is known to stay at shelters in Vancouver, and frequent the downtown eastside,” media relations officer Sgt. Jeff Scott stated in a news release. “We’re asking for the public to assist us in locating Brooklyn so that we can confirm she is safe.”

According to police, Anderson has a tattoo on her neck that says “get busy living or get busy dying”.

Police also noted that the woman does not have a cell phone and access to money.
