After being given the all-clear by police, the West Vancouver School District has reopened a high school that was shut down earlier this week after receiving a bomb threat.

West Vancouver Police assisted in the evacuation of students and staff from West Vancouver Secondary School on January 23.

After an investigation with the assistance of Vancouver Police K9 Services, police didn't find evidence to support the threat and determined that it was a false alarm.

West Vancouver Police and the school district reopened the school on January 24.

Police are continuing their investigation to determine the source of the threat.
