More than a month after a 37-year-old Vancouver woman disappeared, police say they're expanding the search.

Now, the focus is on New Brighton Park in the mystery concerning Su Yi Liang.

Photos were released showing her grey electric 2014 BMWi3 travelling to the East Van park on January 8.

Police would like to talk to anyone who visited the park on that day or who may have seen her vehicle.

She was reported missing by her father on January 10 after she failed to pick her kids up from school.

Su Yi Liang's vehicle was seen travelling in the vicinity of New Brighton Park on January 8.

According to a VPD news release, the major crime section concluded that she went missing around noon on January 8.

"Detectives have also confirmed Ms. Liang’s BMW i3 was at New Brighton Park within hours of her disappearance," Const. Jason Doucette said in the news release. "It’s important we speak with anyone who may have seen her electric car in the parking lot.”

The vehicle was found on January 11 near Rupert Park Pitch & Putt.

Police believe that Su Yi Liang went missing on January 8, which is the same day she visited New Brighton Park.
